Protect yourself and your needles. This extremely sturdy foam is the type I use for demonstration purposes at all my shows (see right-side foam in the photo). It does not wear out and does not compress, keeping your flat felted pieces free from unwanted distortion. If you are serious about needle felting, this is the foam you should have. My Favorite Thimble Needle Felting Foam
Very Good!

Protect yourself and your needles. This smaller sized, but very sturdy, foam is the type I provide to my students in my needle felting classes (see left-side foam in the photo). It doesn't crumble like Styrofoam (TM) and will last through several projects. It's just the right size to slip inside one of our knitted or canvas needle felted bags that are available in Kit form. This foam does not compress, keeping your flat felted pieces free from unwanted distortion. Stiff enough to use on a tabletop or in your lap, both sides can be used to extend the life of the foam.       Top
