If you're like me, any time I place an order from a web site, I always like to know up front what the shipping cost is going to be. Since the PayPal shopping cart that I use on this site doesn't let you know what the shipping and handling costs are until you submit your payment, please let me clarify what those charges will be.

First, there is never a handling charge – period. Second, for merchandise totals under $10.00, the shipping charge is $1.50. For totals of $10.00 to $49.99, the shipping charge is $4.80. Totals of $50.00 to $99.99 are $6.00. Totals of $100.00 or more are $7.50.

That's it. Is that reasonable or what!

If you are having trouble using PayPal, don't know what PayPal is, or would just rather order by snail mail, here is what to do, as long as you are located in the good old USA. Foreign customers must go through PayPal.

Simply write me a note, giving me your snail mail and e-mail addresses and telling me which items you want to purchase. Enclose a check made out to "Chris Hanner & Company" for the total amount with NO SHIPPING FEES INCLUDED. Yes, that's right. Snail Mail orders from the USA get FREE shipping! As soon as I get your letter, I'll let you know, by return e-mail, that your stuff is on its way.
