New dolls with an old-time flavor. Appalachian Felted Dolls are made like the old fashioned corn husk dolls except that instead of corn husks, you'll be using felt squares and wool fiber along with a felting needle. Each kit has enough materials to make one 9 1/2" tall doll or two smaller 7" tall dolls.

• Pioneer Mother & Daughter -- Blue dresses and red hair make a cute pair. 
• Haiwassee & Son -- Her name means Meadow in the Cherokee language.
• A Martian Lady -- Green skin and 4 arms make this doll an unusual addition to the collection.
• The Sister -- Serenity and peace.

Each Kit includes step-by-step instructions, 100% wool fiber for hair, felt pieces in the required colors, a felting needle. and felting foam.
